We finished our novel today... a wonderful story of a young orphan girl named Hattie who rode the Orphan Train west and was adopted by a family in Nebraska. This novel really tugged at our heart strings.... You KNOW kids enjoy the novel because when we finished "Gratefully Yours" everyone applauded! Now our goal is to finish our read-aloud, "Blackwater Swamp"...
We also finished our Report presentations...
Tomorrow the "FUN" begins with 4th Grade Awards and our Picnic/Dance... everyone pray for good weather, at least, till 1:00!
