4th Grade News.....
This week we have really been working hard on our Report Writing. It was great to have our laptop day during our research time. Everyone was able to get even more information on their subject. The last part of the week we have been working on our rough draft. Those who are done will be going into the computer lab on Monday to learn how to do a Power Point Presentation on their animal. The rest of the class will go on Wednesday.
We kind of took a break from our novel this week and broke up into Math groups. My group has been working hard and did a great job on their assessment. Hopefully this week we can read a little more from "Gratefully Yours".
I'm really disappointed that I cannot go with you on your field trip Tuesday. I have to give the MAP Test to my 5th Graders. I know you will have a great time..... it will be "Electrifying"!

5th Grade News...
We have started our last novel we will read together. I love this one like I do "Maniac Magee" because of the main character. I love characters with "Spunk"! I know you really disliked Gilly at first... but I think yesterday you began to understand WHY she acts the way she does. This week you will see a softer side of Gilly.
I can't believe this year is almost over.... it has gone way too fast. We need to enjoy our last couple of weeks together and remember all the fun things we have done.
Yes, my "stomach ache" is much better...... HA! HA!
