Farewell, Mrs. Whitelaw

Last night many teachers, admininistrators, friends, and family joined with our 5 retiring teachers to reminisce and have some fun. We will miss you Mrs. Whitelaw...5th grade won't be the same without you... but we know we will see you again.

Thank you for 36 years of loving and guiding students. I personally want to thank you for all the love and understanding you have given to "our" students. "YOU'RE #1!

Love you always and all ways....Mrs. P

Good-bye.....
Have a great Summer...

It is with "mixed" emotions that I come to the end of this school year. I'm so proud of you and all that you have accomplished this year. You have come so far academically and maturity-wise. My wish is that you continue to grow and remember the most important lesson taught to you by your fantastic teachers this year.......

BE TRUE TO YOURSELF....DON'T COMPROMISE YOUR VALUES!

Good Luck in Middle School to all my 5th Graders...Always and in All Ways be an "Upstander"!

To my 4th Graders....have a good rest this summer and come back ready to tackle your most exciting year ever at Beauclerc!

Love you...Mrs. P

PS rather than end with a lot of pictures....I wanted to end with just one of "ALL" of you...

I love ALL my students & Co-teachers.....

4th Grade News.....

What a week... We finally made it to St. Augustine, but not for long. The rains came and drenched us. We did manage to have our tour of the Fort. It was very interesting. Then half way through lunch the torrential rains came. I haven't been that wet since a FSU/Pitt football game years ago.

Things are winding down. We are working on publishing our "Point of View" narrative. We also are about half way through our novel, "Gratefully Yours". Hopefully we will be able to finish it this week.

What an awesome year we have had. You all are very special to me. I'm so proud of how hard you have worked and how far you have come! Unlike my 5th graders....I know I will see you again next year.

Love you.....Mrs. P
