5th Grade News.....
Both the boys and the girls finished their novels this week. However, the girl's novel, "Frindle" was a little shorter soooooo we decided to put together a little project to share with the boys. In the book, the main character creates a "new" word for and "common" every day item. We decided to create our own dictionary of words and see if the boys, through the use of their definitions, could figure out our words. The writing, editing, and publishing of our "new" words turned out to be a great dictionary skills activity and tons of fun. Take a look.....
