5th Grade News.....

What a week! In addition to finishing our Holocaust Reports and reading Milkweed, we have had a lot of activities going on. On Wednesday we made ornaments for gifts, Thursday was Gingerbread "mansions", and of course the most important... our Italian/Irish Throwdown and Pickle Swap. Our "Lasagna/Ziti" competition was officially declared a tie! Room 71 & 73 was filled with laughter during our Pickle Swap... the popular prizes were a Mancala game, air hockey game, and believe it or not a blanket! Have you eaten the sardines yet Daniela?

A big THANK YOU, goes out to all the Ape parents for attending, helping to set up, take down, and bringing in desserts. You all are AWESOME! Mr. G and I are soooo fortunate to have all of your support. We love you and your kids!

Have a wonderful and restful holiday. This is the time to really cherish our families. Remember the lesson in "A Wish to be a Christmas Tree". Let those that are important to you know it!

Love you...... Mrs. P

PS... be sure to take your "HEAVY" jacket to Boston, Mr. G
