What does Mrs. P do in the summer???

One of the nice parts of the summer is that I actually have time to do some volunteer work for my church. This year one of my good friends was in charge of the Annual Golf Tournament at Deer Creek. Soooo I volunteered to help out. I worked registration, delivered hot dogs in a golf cart, put together the prizes and helped with the auction. It was a long day but really fun. I was so busy that I forgot to take many pictures... here are the few I took.....

Love you... Mrs. P

PS
Just heard from Mrs. Hartless... sounds like the Patrols are having a blast in D. C.

We're ba-a-a-a-ack.....

Mr. P and I just got back from four very busy, but wonderful days in Nashville. On Friday when we got in, we "girls" went to a Bridal shower for my son's fiancee, Jenny. Then Saturday was Madison's dance recital. Having raised two boys... I never went to a dance recital before... lots of football and baseball games, but NO dance recitals. It was really neat! It featured dancers from the age of 3 to 16. It was held at the Tennessee Performing Arts Center and was really professional looking. Of course in MY eyes, Madison stole the show! She had one Tap performance and one ballet performance. The ballet performance was a Daddy/Daughter dance that brought tears to Mrs. P's eyes. On Sunday it was church, brunch at Jenny's parent's house and a cook-out for the Fathers. Monday was a movie and Cuban food a la Mrs. P.

It was hard to leave but we'll be going back in September for the wedding!

Here are some pictures, and pictures of pictures I took....

Hope you are having a great summer......

What an awesome "last" year at Beauclerc! You have come so far and have matured into young men and women. You are ready for middle school. Just remember all that Mr. G, Mrs. H, and I have taught you, not only about academics but about LIFE. Be true to yourself, hang with the "right" crowd, and "ALWAYS" be an Upstander. I know you are going to do great things in life. Be sure to come back and visit us. We will miss you and are so proud of you.

Love you always & all ways....... Mrs. P "Pickles"

5th Grade Awards.....

I was sooo proud of the Apes & Heroes at the awards. They got so many recognitions and even though it was a looong ceremony they hung in there. Sorry I didn't make it out to the picnic, but it was my 4th Graders end of the year luncheon. Looking forward to our trip tomorrow.

Love you and will miss you..... Mrs. P
